Far away inside the snow-covered Blue Mountain, there lives people known as the Blue Gnomes. Reclusive and reluctant Princess Bluerose must venture outside the safe confines of the Mountain in order to save her father the King of the Mountain who fell ill. On the perilous journey, she discovers not all gnomes are blue.

Katarina Launing / Roar Uthaug
Launing and Uthaug met while attending the directing program at The Norwegian National Film School. Since graduating, Launing has directed short films and several episodes of the TV series "Hotel Cæsar" (2002). Uthaug made his feature directorial debut with Cold Prey (2006), which has screened at Slamdance and many other festivals. Magic Silver (2009) is their first feature as a directing team. They are currently developing projects both individually and as a team.
