SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2009

SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2009, taking place from Friday July 10th to Monday July 20th, 2009.
Feature and Short length films that have been shot and edited digitally, which can be screened in digital format were gathered from Japan and abroad.

In the international feature length competition section, there were 723 submissions from 77 countries and area the nominated 15 works will be screened.
In the domestic short length competition section, 11 Japanese short films are selected from among 281 submissions.
At the Closing ceremony, certificates, trophies by the festival organizers and the SONY D-Cinema Award will be given to the winners.

Besides the competition sections, current D-Cinema 2009,Gala screening, Special screenings and other related events will be held during the festival.

All the movies will be presented using the latest 4K digital cinema projector, projected on a huge screen.
The guests are scheduled to be invited from around the world.
