The Verbeeks are driving off for a vacation in France when a phone call comes to inform them that Bob, the family patriarch, is gravely ill. The family cancels the trip and return home to spend the last days together.

Director／Margien Rogaar
Rogaar graduated from the National Dutch Film-Academy in Amsterdam in 2002. Since then she has directed several TV films and shorts including Au Cigogne!, Matzos about Fish, Revolution, and Breath, which was screened at Cannes in 2008. She made her directorial debut with Maybe Sweden in 2006. She also directed Bon Voyage, which was selected for the Mill Valley Film Festival and nominated for the Dutch Golden Calf. Her latest work is the children’s TV series Doctor Cheezy produced for VPRO a Dutch broadcast.
