Kayo, Koji, Yuta are basketball players in school and best friends who share their dreams of entering the national. Kayo suddenly drops out of the team to live with her mother, a recovering alcoholic who just came out of the hospital.

Born in Nagano, Asanuma apprenticed under Masayoshi Azuma. His spec script was picked up for a broadcast when he was nineteen. His short film Escape from won the second place at the 3rd TSS Short Movie Festival. He established Altan Cinemas and makes films independently.
