Yukika has lost her hearing and given up her dream of becoming a singer. Kaito hasn’t found what he wants to do with his life. Two wandering kind meet and thei r subtle change of emotions are expressed with colorful tunes in this musical.

Director/Hiroaki Kakukawa

Born 1974 in Saitama, Kakukawa graduated from Waseda University School of Law. After working in advertising agency, he switched his career into acting. He has performed in many theater productions including Les Miserables. He is also active as a musician and owns a fashion brand <wayomix>. Dream Notebook is his first film.

Chitose is a success ful boy-manga artist. One day, she submits a girl-manga manuscript. Her editor suggests to make changes, but she refuses. Why is this story so personal to her? A coming- of-age fantasy tale where the reality and the manga world collide.

Sakai is currently attending Kyoto University of Art and Design and studying filmmaking and scriptwriting. She worked as an assistant director on a brand new film Miroku, starring Masatoshi Nagase, directed by Kaizo Hayashi. Lollipop is her first film.

Shinta is a stage actor and a former alcoholic. His wife is hospitalized to get a breast cancer surgery leaving Shinta and his two year old daughter Yuri alone at home. But Yuri doesn’t get along with him. A moving drama about father and daughter relationship.

Director/Kotaro Wajima

Born 1983, Wajima began his career directing TV dramas such as Senseidou, and Tokyo Girl. In 2008, he was one of the directors selected for NEW DIRECTIONS IN JAPANESE CINEMA endorsed by Agency for Cultural Affairs and directed A Third Skin. In 2011, he directed Wav, a part of Tomorrow, a collection of short films produced by Sendai Short Film Festival and the film aired on the French national broadcast Arte.
