Special Screening
This special screening features a film produced through a program supporting young filmmakers, organized by Saitama Prefecture’s SKIP CITY Sai-no-Kuni Visual Plaza. It marks the feature-length debut of director Minami Ikemoto, whose Hunting Results won Best Picture in the Japanese Film Competition (Short Length) in 2023. With this film, a talented filmmaker discovered at our festival takes a bold first step onto a broader, international stage.
International Film Selection
Two short films that received Tiger Short Awards at the 2025 International Film Festival Rotterdam will be screened alongside two feature-length works highly praised at film festivals worldwide. Special guests will also be in attendance. Be sure to experience this excellent selection of works from up-and-coming filmmakers.

In recent years, AI technology has started to play a role in many areas of film production, such as video generation, music production, and scriptwriting. This program includes five films that were produced by incubator office tenants or produced in association with PYRAMID AI. This is a new film experience born out of collaboration between humans and AI. The directors and AI specialists come together to discuss the possibilities, originality, and challenges that come with AI video generation.
