Three sisters living in Kamakura receives a news that their estranged father missing for 15 years has died. At the funeral, they meet Suzu, a teenaged step-sister they never knew they had. Discovering Suzu’s mother had already passed away, Sachi, the eldest sister, suggests Suzu to move in with them.
